More about this repair
When do you need a screen replacement?
- The glass is cracked or spider-webbed, even if the picture still works.
- Black spots, coloured lines or flickering on the display.
- Touch doesn't respond, responds on its own, or only on part of the screen.
- After a drop only the backlight glows and there is no picture.
Looks like you need a screen replacement, but the cause is often elsewhere
- The phone won't turn on and the glass is intact — that's usually the battery or the main board, not the display.
- The display is black but the phone rings and vibrates — often a loose display connector that just needs reseating.
- Touch only fails with a screen protector on or with wet fingers — remove the protector, dry the display.
- The picture goes dark during calls or brightness jumps on its own — that's the proximity sensor or auto brightness, not the panel.
- In all of these cases choose Diagnostics: the repair will most likely cost far less than a €150 display replacement.
How the repair works
- We replace the whole display module — glass and panel, not just the top glass.
- On the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion we fit the same type of display the phone came with.
- We also clean out the dust and glass fragments that got in through the crack — there is usually more than you can see.
- €150 is the final price: part and labour, no hidden fees.
- Done within 24 hours of receiving your phone, then we send it back to the same Packeta point.
- 12-month warranty on the part and the work.
If you leave it
A crack lets moisture and dust in. The touch layer stops responding first, and over time the main board gets damaged too — turning a €150 repair into a much more expensive one.
Frequently asked questions
- Will the Edge 60 Fusion stay as smooth after a screen replacement?
- Yes. The new pOLED display for the Edge 60 Fusion runs at 120 Hz with the same resolution as the original; colours and Always-On work as before. The curved edges of the display are part of the component.
- Only the glass cracked on my Edge 60 Fusion. Is replacing the glass enough?
- No, on the Edge 60 Fusion the glass is firmly bonded to the pOLED panel and the complete display is replaced. The screen replacement costs €150 whether or not the panel still lights up.
- Does the IP68 rating of the Edge 60 Fusion still apply after a screen repair?
- The maker guarantees it only for an unopened phone. We fit a new seal when replacing the Edge 60 Fusion screen, but we can no longer promise IP68; keep the phone away from water after the repair.
- Will I lose my data when the display is replaced?
- No. The display is replaced without touching the phone's storage. We still recommend a backup before you send it — for any repair.
- What if the inspection finds a different fault?
- We write to you with what we found and the price of the extra repair. Nothing extra is repaired without your approval.
- How long does the display replacement take, and when will I have my Motorola Edge 60 Fusion back?
- The replacement itself is done within 24 hours of receiving your phone. Then we send it back to the same Packeta point — return shipping is free.
